DISCIPLINE BUILT IN SERVICE.
PURPOSE FOUND THROUGH CREATIVITY.

I'm Eric Carrière-Toussaint, a retired Canadian Armed Forces veteran and the photographer behind Canadian Traditions Photography. What began as a way to stay grounded through PTSD became a way to capture energy, emotion and the stories people carry with them.

Twenty-four years of military service shaped how I work: prepared, focused and calm when the pace gets intense. Whether I'm against the glass, trackside or building a portrait with light, I'm looking for the honest moment, not just the obvious one.
